Integrity
We believe a moral compass is critical to building and sustaining a great company. We take our commitments seriously, and act out of honesty and respect for our team members and clients alike.
We'd like to call it an ah-ha moment, but it's really decades of moments. Designing hundreds of custom technology solutions and experiences for our clients, we've run across every roadblock and challenge in the book. We knew there had to be a better way to design, install and support our clients and their technology solutions. That's when RouterBox was born.
We all know the network is the backbone of any automation system. Homeowners and business owners spend tens of thousands of dollars on systems that too often don't hit the mark, and then sometimes thousands more for that same system to be ripped out and replaced by another "better" system, simply hoping it will work better. We believe there is a better way; a way that protects existing infrastructure and investment, a way that helps clients get what they need the first time and a way for integrators to help rescue systems in need of repair.
Now Techology is here, with RouterBox, to help you build AND support kick-ass networks for your clients.
We exist to simplify and enhance everyday life by bridging the knowledge gap between people and technology. It's that simple.
Our values have led us down the path to build a company that we believe will change the custom integration business for the better. Our promise to you, our partners, is to let these values guide each and every decision we make along this amazing journey.
We believe a moral compass is critical to building and sustaining a great company. We take our commitments seriously, and act out of honesty and respect for our team members and clients alike.
What works today may not work tomorrow. As technology evolves, needs and expectations in the marketplace change. We aim to stay ahead of that curve, to be thought leaders in the industry while continuing to provide new and relevant solutions.
Customer experience is a top priority, both for our integration partners and their clients. We strive to listen to and understand our customers needs in the marketplace, allowing relevant feedback to steer the direction and development of our products and services. In other words, we give a shit about what our customers think.
Being free of ego and arrogance, our team is consistently thinking about how we can improve the lives of others. Operating from a place of humility allows us to grow faster, be more collaborative and build stronger relationships.
With deep roots in the AV and custom integration industry, combined with expert IT and business growth knowledge, we bring over two decades of experience in each of these sectors, positioning us to support our AV and custom integration partners to take their business to the next level.
With over 23 years experience in the electronics and systems integration industry, John has always sought out technology challenges that allow him to apply industry leading solutions to complex IoT projects. He has an aptitude for solving problems, particularly in the technical arena and has rescued many residential and commercial network and automation systems that other CI companies walked away from in frustration. As a service-disabled Navy Veteran, he learned at an early age that having an old-school work ethic and an experienced team of professionals is the key to any successful organization. As Techology's CEO, John is stoked to be able to help our CI partners provide a higher level of service and support to their clients while also helping them reduce client churn and build new revenue streams.

Meet Braden, Techology's 2022 Intern. A recent high school graduate, Braden is starting his career as a student at the University of Texas at Tyler, where he will study Computer Science and Business. He joined the team in Colorado this summer to learn the ins and outs of the industry, helping the Smart Systems team with installations, including upgrading classroom technology at a couple of local colleges as well as a high end custom integration project. He spent time learning how to program Control4, and then moved on to helping the Techology team to build the user interface for RBxConnect. We're excited to keep him on board as part of our development and support team as he makes his way through college.
We're committed to building a future for our industry and recognize that bringing new talent into the fold is critical. We look forward to expanding our intern program in the future.
